Barack Obama took to the stage in Denver recently after a line up of warm-up acts that anyone would find hard to follow. Soul icon, Stevie Wonder, folkie Sheryl Crow, and the Black Eyed Peas were amongst the Obama supporters on stage. In the audience he was backed up by George Lucas, Spike Lee’s Jin from Lost, and Jessica Alba.  Obama has appeared on the covers of Spin and Rolling Stone, so much more rock and roll than Sarah Palin’s cover shots on People, Us and OK. This election is certainly turning out to be more of a gift for the media than usual.
