Comedian Peter Kay let rip in a massive take off of every TV talent show. With a star studded cast, Britain’s Got The Pop Factor… And Possibly A New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly On Ice, was a two hour special, with a split in the middle for ‘voting’ just like the real talent shows. Participants with various gifts and talents took part, but it was clear from the start that Geraldine McQueen, played by Kay himself, was headed for the winning position. The show was hosted by Cat Deeley and judged by Nicki Chapman, Pete Waterman and Neil Fox.
Geraldine and runners up 2 Up 2 Down had a sing off at the end of the show. Both had to sing “The Winner’s Song”, written by Peter Kay and Gary Barlow. This is now out as a single on iTunes and in HMV Stores.
