Despite their divorce hitting the headlines in most of the major national papers, Madonna is managing to move on from her relationship with Guy Ritchie. Neither were present for their quickie divorce hearing recently, but Madonna was seen a few hours later leaving the Kabbalah centre.
Ritchie’s ongoing unreasonable behaviour was cited as cause for the divorce. Apparently details of the settlement have not yet been finalised. Madonna’s fortune is estimated at £350 million and newspapers have reported Ritchie will be receiving payments varying from nothing to a gift of £70 million. Custody arrangements also need to be sorted out for son Rocco, 8, and adopted son David. With Madonna planning to base herself in New York while Ritchie remains in London this may not be simple. Whatever the outcome, we will be seeing many more column inches on the story, a gift for celeb reporters everywhere.
