Disappointment is rife with the news that Lembit Opik has not been signed for next year’s Celebrity Big Brother. The Sun has clamed that he was on the shortlist, but the BBC news site says no. The ex of a Cheeky Girl and weather girl Sian Lloyd, Lembit Opik is very much a gift to the media in a way that goes beyond his political views.Â
 Apparently, Opik is trying to appear more serious in a bid to get elected as the next Lib Dem president. However, having already appeared on The All Star Talent Show, All-Star Mr and Mrs , and Celebrity Weakest Link we don’t think turning down Big Brother is going to make much difference.
