Lisa Marie Presley is giving her twin girls Finley and Harper their first taste of the media at just three months old. The girls have appeared in the People and Hello this week.
Lisa Marie, 40, shares her fears of post-partum depression with the magazines. She says in Hello magazine, “I was expecting to go into some severe post-partum land. I was waiting for it to hit me. I had a couple of episodes of crying but they weren’t unfounded. I’m glad it didn’t actually get me. Everything is so freaky. ‘Are they breathing? Are they OK?’ They’re so fragile. That freaks me out.”
The twin pregnancy was a real gift as Lisa and her fourth husband musician Michael Lockwood had been trying to conceive for two years. Lisa commented, ’My blood was too thick and would clot, which caused several miscarriages. The moment I took blood thinners, I got pregnant.’
She also talks about the chaos of life in a family of six: the girls are her third and fourth children, as she is also mother to Danielle Riley, 19, and Benjamin Storm, 15, from her first marriage to Danny Keough.
