X Factor – So What’s The Christmas Number One?

Last week we reported that the continual success of the X Factor winner in nabbing the Christmas number one spot is deterring other bands from bringing out a Christmas single. So, is this year’s winner Alexandra Burke going to continue the trend? Daughter of former Soul II Soul singer Melissa Bell, Burke has both the gift and pedigree to make a success of her career. She has sticking power and determination too, having auditioned for the 2005 series of the show, where she reached the last seven in her category but was not selected for the finals.

Watch out to see if Burke can emulate Leona Lewis and become the next big thing on both sides of the Atlantic too.
