Television’s top celebrities were out in force last night for the Television and Radio Industries Club awards.
Loose Women won the TV Daytime Programme award, while Sir Trevor McDonald beat Fiona Philips and Fiona Bruce to be named the top newscaster.
Eamonn Holmes received the Satellite/Digital TV Personality of the Year award and the Satellite and Digital Programme category was won by Gavin & Stacey.
Strictly Come Dancing was named best TV Reality Programme and EastEnders was TV Soap of the Year.
