Actor George Clooney’s brief return to US medical drama ER gave the show its highest ratings in two years.
As the long-running series draws to a close, a number of former regulars – including Noah Wyle (Dr Carter) and Eriq La Salle (Dr Benton) – have been making cameo appearances.
The episode featuring Clooney saw a 23% increase in viewers in the US and will be shown on More4 on 14 May.
