The Hollywood award season continues to be a gift for the Brits with successes for Slumdog Millionaire and Kate Winslet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Despite missing out on the title of best leading actress, Winslet, 33, collected the award for best supporting actress. She said, ”What a year it has been. It is really an honour to be included in such a remarkable year and be acknowledged by my peers in this way.”
Slumdog Millionaire continued a winning streak with the gift of the top award, Best Film Ensemble, which was accepted by British actor Dev Patel and co-stars Anil Kapoor and Freida Pinto.
