The sequel to the big-screen version of Sex and the City will be released on 28 May 2010, according to US studio Warner Bros and its subsidiary New Line.
The film will reunite stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon.
Sex and the City: The Movie opened in May 2008 and went on to make $415m (£281m) worldwide.
