Actor Leonard Nimoy surprised fans at a movie screening this week when he switched a Star Trek classic for the eagerly-anticipated new movie.
Sci-fi enthusiasts in Austin, Texas turned up to see the 1982 Star Trek movie, Wrath of Khan, only to find Nimoy introducing the first public showing of director JJ Abrams’ prequel.
The film, due for release on 8 May, was given a six minute standing ovation and one filmgoer said fans were “crying they were so happy.”
