If you were looking for an unusual gift, you didn’t need to look any further than an auction of celebrity memorobilia collected by the late Kray twins. The £100,000 auction included pictures of Princess Diana which went for £1,550. A signed photo of Frank Bruno made £280. Other items included a signed photo of Fern Britton and a letter from Francis Bacon. A copy of comedian Norman Wisdom’s autobiography with a handwritten message to Ronnie went for £570.

The auction took place at Chiswick Auctions in west London. A painting, Crucifixion, by Ronnie Kray sold for £4,800, and another went for £3,200. The highest price was fetched by two pairs of cufflinks belonging to Ronnie,  which went for almost £15,000.
