The glass jewellery designed by Catarina Vassalo uses a variety of materials - from Indian glass beads, Moroccan Steel beads, Milefiore glass beads, Venetian Glass ,gemstones, crystals and many more.
All her glass beads and materials are sourced by her personally, and she makes it an absolute requirement that all materials are fair trade. This makes all of her glass jewellery completely exclusive. This means that some of her glass pendants and charm bracelets will never be repeated because of the exclusivity of the beads and charms she uses.
She doesn’t have fixed jewellery suppliers, instead she buys from all sorts of different people and places, some of which aren't professional suppliers, they are just artists with little shops, that make their glass beads by themselves!
